This is the "Casey" mask, one in a series of our "Face Masks" creations. The mask has the appearance of the disembodied facial skin of one very unfortunate victim.
All of the masks made in this shop are made from a durable skin-like silicone, not latex like you might find in most costume shops. Unlike latex, silicone won't degrade in the sun, dry out over time or lose its color.
This silicone has lots of stretch, and to prevent tearing the mask has embedded anti-tear fabric around the outside edge as well as the corners of the eyes and the mouth. The coloring is all done with pigmented silicone, so it will never rub off or fade. The bloody edges and back side of the mask will always look wet!
You can add other options to your mask like a clown face paintjob, sewn mouth or even a hard plastic backing so you can hang your mask on the wall. Look for these options in the listings beside the other face masks.
The mask will come with strapping holes pre-cut and enough stretch-strapping and instructions on how to adjust the strapping to fit your head.
Options on this mask include Blood and Color as well as Eyelid level:
-Blood Level - The mask pictures denote a "normal" amount of blood for this mask. If you want more or less blood, choose the appropriate option.
-Fresh or Decomposing - Fresh means that the skin will look like it was freshly taken from the victim and it will have your chosen level of blood on it. Decomposing means that the skin will have more gray colors and instead of blood it will be highlighted with dark brown or black around the mouth, nose, eyes and around the outside edge (to give the appearance of flesh starting to rot).
-Eyelids - Choose whether you want full visibility with no eyelids or are comfortable with a smaller viewing area with the partial eyelids. Before choosing partial lids, please make sure the mask's facial measurements is close to your own.
To ensure a more comfortable fit, please select a mask that has similar measurements to your own face or is slightly larger. To find your own measurements, use a cloth measuring tape (or pieces of string that you can measure afterwards) to get the width from just outside your left eye to just outside of your right eye. For your height, measure from just under the tip of your chin to the center of your eyebrows. (run the tape to one side of your nose)
The measurements of the "Casey" mask are: 4.5in. width and 5in. height.
