New Face Mold: Dr. Gula
Welcome to the face library, Dr. Gula! A brand new face joins The Shoggoth Assembly, molded off the likeness of our friend, sideshow knife thrower of The House of Horrors, Dr. Gula!
Dr.Gula has facial hair on his chin and jawline that he didn't want to shave, so this mask goes from the top of his forehad to his top lip, including cheek flaps on the side, giving this mask a really fun "ventriloquist dummy" sort of mouth!
We did this molding at The House of Horrors gathering space, where some members practice their acts and where we have movie nights together! This night was really fun because a bunch of us all got together to hang that day. I always really love days where my friends and I can create things and work on our art simultaneously. Also going on that day Dr. Gula, Pixie Payne, and Kevin practiced their knife throwing routine, testing out timing some new acts and a new song mix. Sammie of Siren's Souveniers also joined us to do Dr. Gula's makeup and film some promo content for the upcoming House of Horrors show!
@aesthel Yesterday a bunch of us got together at @The House of Horrors Events to work on things for our next event! Sammi did Dr. Gula’s makeup and he did some knife throwing practice with Pixie Payne! We all filmed some promo stuff together to promote our show at The Bungalow in Manchester, NH on the 21st, and then we finished the night with me getting a lifecast mold of Dr. Gula’s face to add to my face library!! Which speaking of that next show, it was super fun! It was held at The Bungalow in Manchester, NH and it was actually Dr. Gula's birthday! Which gave me a perfect deadline to finish up the first pulls from this new mold! For the very fist version made of this mask I recreated the clown makeup that Sammie does on Dr. Gula for his performances and gave it to him at the show!
I also made a second version of his face with the same clown makeup layout in an alternate color scheme and it actually sold to one of the bands performing at the show that night, so I got some really cool pictures of the mask on stage too! Be sure to check out Lobotomobile for more tunes!
