Now Under New Management! Due to ongoing health problems Eric has decided to take a step back and pass on The Shoggoth Assembly to his apprentice, Jinx Aesthel.

The Shoggoth Assembly: 2026 Update

Hello everyone! I wanted to share some updates about The Shoggoth Assembly with you all.

Many of you know Eric Anderson, founder of The Shoggoth Assembly. Eric has been my mentor in FX makeup since 2013 and has taught me everything I know. Over the last couple of years Eric has been struggling with some health problems and toward the end of 2025 he decided to take a step back from The Shoggoth Assembly, passing it on to his apprentice, me, Jinx Aesthel!

am so thankful for my years spent working with Eric and all I’ve learned from him as his apprentice, and I’m excited to see what this next chapter of life looks like! And thank you to everyone else who has supported my art to get here!!

What does this change mean for The Shoggoth Assembly website?

You may have noticed some changes to the site already! I've added some of my other art to the site that I have been vending over the last year and a half or so onto the website. You can now order my clothing designs and art stickers online! Check out the new tabs on the website to take a look at those!

And of course the masks and FX aren't going anywhere! In fact, I've already begun expanding the face library and I have added two brand new molds to the catalogue this year already! Say "Hello" to Jean-Claude and Dr. Gula! I'm hoping to celebrate this new era of The Shoggoth Assembly by collecting a bunch of new molds through out this year, so stay tuned as more faces will be added to the site!

Finally, the change I know you've already seen... this! The blog! There are now a few blog sections added to the site! This is the News blog where I'll share things like updates about the shop, info about the order window for Halloween, and information about upcoming events I will be vending at! I'm also planning a blog section for FX Updates (I have a few posts about those new molds coming to that soon), and a blog for Fashion Lookbooks where I'll be sharing the different photoshoots featuring me and other models wearing my designs!

Thank you for supporting The Shoggoth Assembly over the years, I can't wait to keep creating with you all!
